What we
don't collect.

TwoFrame is built around a simple principle: your videos belong to you, and they stay on your device. This page explains exactly what data we touch and why.

Videos and recordings

Every video you record with TwoFrame is saved directly to your iPhone's Photos library. We never upload, transmit, transcode, or store your recordings on any server. Once a recording is saved to your TwoFrame album, our involvement with it ends.

What we collect on first launch

• Anonymous device ID — a random identifier generated on your device, used to associate your subscription state with your install. Not tied to your name, email, Apple ID, or any personally identifiable information.
• App version + build number — sent with API requests so we can deliver the right remote configuration and catch bugs that only affect specific builds.
• iOS version + device model — coarse-grained crash and analytics data, used only to prioritize fixes for the most-affected devices.

Subscription state

When you purchase TwoFrame Pro, Apple processes the transaction and notifies our subscription provider (RevenueCat) via a secure server-to-server webhook. We store the entitlement state ("active premium" / "expired") associated with your anonymous device ID, so the app can verify your subscription on subsequent launches and across re-installs of the same Apple ID.

We never see your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID — Apple handles all of that.

Crash and analytics data

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized crash reports and high-level usage events (e.g., "user opened paywall", "user completed purchase"). These help us find bugs and understand which features matter. You can opt out of analytics in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Permissions we request

• Camera — required to record video. Used only when you're in the app's recording screen.
• Microphone — required to record audio along with your video.
• Photos (write-only) — required to save the recordings you create. We never read existing photos in your library.

Third parties

We use the following processors to deliver the app:

• Apple — App Store distribution and payment processing
• RevenueCat — subscription state validation and webhook handling
• Google Firebase — crash reporting and anonymized analytics

None of these have access to your recordings. Each maintains its own privacy practices, summarized in their respective privacy policies.

Data retention

The anonymous device ID and subscription state are retained for as long as your subscription is active. If you uninstall the app, this data is automatically purged from our systems within 90 days.

Your rights

To request deletion of your subscription record, email nomadanapps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". Include the date of your last purchase if known. We'll process the request within 30 days.

Children's privacy

TwoFrame is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store but the content it produces (your own videos) is your responsibility.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
